Equipment Installation
Thanks for joining the Frozen Brothers family! Your frozen drinks journey starts with equipment installation. Our skilled technicians will set up the Power unit at your premises. This page guides you through the process, detailing what they'll do and how you can help for a smooth installation.
What We'll Do
We’ll unpack your new power Unit before setting it up where you want it.
We'll install your Power Unit by connecting it to your store's electricity supply as well as water and CO2 if applicable.
We’ll set up your Power Unit by setting the wake and sleep timers to match your store.
We’ll fill up your tanks with syrup. If you have a screen we will also set this up.
We’ll provide training to you and your staff.
We will remove all the packaging and leave your store in the same state we found it.
What You Need To Do
To ensure a smooth installation process, there are a few essential components you'll need in place before our team arrives. Your store must also be accessible for our technicians. Please check the following information as it might impact the delivery and installation of your Power unit. If your store doesn’t meet these requirements in any area, please contact us in advance so we can address the situation.
Parking and Distance to store - There must be parking within the immediate vicinity of your site (within 50m).
Door width and narrow points - Check for any potential choke points and corners. Make sure there is adequate space to manoeuvre (min width 720mm)
Pavements, Surfaces and Steps - You must notify us of any stairs, stairs or lifts between the access point to your store and the location of the equipment
Obstacles - Please remove any obstacles from the path of the machine (from the access point to your store to the installation location for the equipment)
Time of install - You or a member of staff must be present at the time of installation to grant access to the site and receive training.
Install destination - Make sure your Install location meets the minimum space requirements linked below. There must be room for ventilation and easy access to the water and power.
You must notify us of any special requirements such as site permits or RAMS reports or if the installation must take place outside regular business hours.

What You Need
Our Power units require a few key elements to function such as power and water connections, adequate space, and your own CO2 supply (if applicable). Below, you'll find detailed information tailored to your specific power unit, as requirements may vary depending on the model you've chosen. The symbols shown below each Power Unit can be used to see what is required for install.
Water
All our F, G, C & H series Power Units can run off a water supply. They require a 15mm copper pipe suitable for potable water and must end in a minimum of a 6-INCH COPPER PIPE AFTER THE VALVE SO WE CAN ATTACH TO IT.
Our F series Power Units also offer a manual fill option that doesn’t require a water connection.
Power
Our F, C & G Power Unit machines require a 13amp plug socket.
Our H series Power Unit requires a 32amp commando socket.
Syrup
Our F series Power Units offer a manual fill option that requires bottles of syrup.
Our Auto-Fill Power Units automatically draw in syrup from the Bag In Box (BIB) system
CO2
Our carbonated machines (G, C & H series) require CO2 which you will have to provide. For more information on the CO2 you will need and where you can get it click on the button below.
Heat and Ventilation
Our Power Units are designed for use at a maximum air intake temp of 32°C.
Air intake temperature of 24°C to the Power Unit will deliver the optimal performance capacity. As the air intake temperature increases, the Power Units performance capacity decreases.
Air intake temperatures will be higher than room temperature if the Power Unit is located near a heat source (e.g. next to a window, in direct sunlight, or close to high operating temperature machine like a pizza oven, deep fryer, coffee machine; or in an enclosed space or alcove.)
Install Type
If you've opted for manual fill, the installation process is straightforward and detailed on the Manual Fill Install page linked below. For those with an Auto Fill system, additional components are required, and these installations can be categorised into two types.
The first involves our innovative IceStation Install, equipped with syrup pumps, bag-in-box system, chillers, and CO2 (if needed). This IceStation can be effortlessly wheeled into your store and set up within an hour.
The second option is a Custom Install where you only purchase the Power Unit, and one of our technicians installs the aforementioned required parts under the counter or in another space separated from the Power Unit. A Custom Install requires a specialist team to complete your install. This may require a site survey and charges may apply
For more information about these options and to find out what you need to have ready for these installs, follow the links below.
